CHOICE OF THE SIGNAL SOURCE AND MEASUREMENT

The most important keys on the MSK 200 are

and

.

After activating the

key, you will be able to define the source and the channel or transponder to be

measured. After pressing the

key, you will be able to choose the type of measurement wanted and

have this carried out. In the MSK 200‘s display, the ANALYSE menu is always positioned at the edge of the display with the SOURCE menu positioned next to it. Both menus should be seen as being completely inde- pendant of each other, and be independantly operated.

CHOICE OF THE SIGNAL SOURCE

By pressing the hard key , you will be able to choose a signal source from the list displayed. The following sources can be chosen:

Digital Cable TV

Digital Satellite TV

Digital Terrestrial TV

Analogue Cable TV

Analogue Satellite TV

Analogue Terrestrial TV

Analogue Radio (FM / UKW)

Audio/Video or Transport stream Input

Note: Not all signal sources can be called up directly during a measurement operation. Due to this, we recommend that you call up the spectrum analyser before changing the signal source (see point 4, Measurement choice)

Provided you have already chosen a signal source, the corresponding Help file will be opened

once the key has been pressed.
