Operating Instructions

AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF

The dehumidifierhas a waterlevel control switchthat willturnthe unit off

when the bucket is full, or when the bucket is removedor not replaced in the proper position.

The bucket must be replaced in the proper position for the dehumidifier to work. The light will be on and the dehumidifier will not run if the bucket is not in the proper position.

DISPOSING OF COLLECTED WATER

1.Empty the bucket manually. 2. Attach a length of garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector to carry water to the drain.

When the bucket is full, pull out by grasping the handleand empty it into a largesink or tub and then replace it properly.

Do notremovethebucket whileoperatingthedehumidifier. It can causewaterto dropon the basepanor thefloor. Emptythebucketwhentheindicator lighttums on.

It is advisableto carrythe bucketby supportingitfrom the bottomas well as bythe handle.

Carryingby onlythe handlemay causethehandleor bucketcoverto

break.

1.Remove the drain holecover.

2.Connecta garden hose to the threadeddrain hose connector.

3.Push the drain hose connector tightly intothe drain hole on Rear Gdlle.

Thedrainhoseconnector will accepta standardgardenhose fitting.

Donot overtightenthehosewhen connectingit to thehoseconnector; usea rubberwasherand tighten firmlybyhandwithoutstrippingthe plasticthreads.

Whenattachedto the drain hose

connector, do not bend or kinkthe hose.

The hose should lie flat from the dehumidifierto the drain.
