ANSWERS

No. if you remove or turn over the turntable, you will get poor cooking results. Dishes used in your oven must fit on the turntable.

You can use aluminum foil for shielding (use small, fiat pieces), small skewers, and shallow foil trays (if tray is no taller than 3/4 in. [1.9 cm] deep and is filled with food to absorb microwave

energy). Never allow metal to touch walls or door.

Yes. The turntable reverses rotation each time the

microwave oven door is opened and closed. This helps cook food evenly.

This appearance is normal and does not affect the operation of your oven.

You may hear the sound of the transformer when the magnetron tube cycles on.

As the food becomes hot it will conduct the

heat to the dish. Be prepared to use hot pads to remove food after cooking.

"Standing time" means that after the timed

cooking period ends, food should be allowed to stand either inside or outside of the oven to

completely finish cooking. Outside oven standing time will allow the oven to be available for

other use. For inside oven standing time, you can program a "0" power second stage of the cooking cycle. See Two-Stage Cooking.

Steam is normally produced during cooking. The

microwave oven has been designed to vent this steam.

Yes. Pop packaged microwave popcorn while following the manufacturer's guidelines. Do not use regular paper bags.

Do not re-pop unpopped kernels. Do not pop popcorn in glass cookware.
