1. Load a cassette tape.

÷The normal (TYPE I) or High (TYPE II) tape types are detected and set auto- matically.

÷Use a cassette tape with which the protect tab for accidental erasure pre- vention is not broken. T

To record sound from a CD, use the dedicated recording function by referring to "CD synchronized recording" (¶) or "Convenient recording methods" (ﬂ).

To reverse the tape transport direction

1Select "TAPE" with the CURSOR key.

2Press the SET key.3Press the DIRECTION key to switch the tape transport direction.

÷When recording is started, the tape is transported in the direction selected in this step.

÷Wind the tape to the position where recording is to be started.
