Discs can be given disc names up to 25 characters.

Although the most convenient time to enter disc names is when you insert the discs into the player for the first time, (that way the player keeps track of the disc names for you as you insert the discs), you can use this procedure to enter or change disc names any time you want.

These instructions explain how to enter disc names when you insert the discs into the player for the first time.

1Open the loading door and leave it open for this entire operation.

2Select an empty disc slot.

4Enter the disc name.

1.Press MODE.

Use the DISC SKIP(DOWN/

UP) to select title input mode.

The display flashes:

2.Press SET.

The display reads:

D--- SELECT

then the disc number you selected will flash:

DXXX

3.Press SET again. The dis- play will stop flashing and will change to the alpha- numeric character dis- play:

4.Use the character keys to select characters.

5.If you make a mistake,

use DELETE/CLEAR to

erase your last entry.

6.Use SPACE/CHECK to en-

ter spaces.

7.Use CHARAC./P.MODE to

shift between capital let- ters, lowercase letters and numbers/symbols.
