This unit is equipped with the following functions utilizing RDS data :

Before using RDS
Set the reception band to FM. Preset RDS stations with the auto memory function.
1. Select the PTY search mode.
2. Select the desired program type.
Use program type table on the right for your conve- nience.
Selection with the 4 or key.
Searching for a desired program type (PTY search)
3. Start the search.
To change to a different program type :
Press the P.MODE/RDS DISP. key
Repeat steps 1., 2., 3.
When searching for a Rock Music broadcast Display while the tuner is searching.
