SELECTING A ZONE AND CHANNEL/ GROUP ID
Select the desired zone using the keys programmed as Zone Up and Zone
Down.
•The default setting for the key is Zone Up.
•The default setting for the key is Zone Down.
Select the desired channel or group ID using the keys programmed as CH/GID
Up and CH/GID Down.
•The default setting for the <B key is CH/GID Down.
•The default setting for the C> key is CH/GID Up.
Names can be programmed for zones and channels/ group IDs with up to 12
characters each. However, to fit on the display, names will be abbreviated. Your
dealer can set the zone name to a length of 0 to 12 digits. Channel/ group ID
names will shorten appropriately, to fit in the 12-digit display.
For example, if your dealer sets the zone name to 3 digits, the zone name is
“KENWOOD” and the channel/ group ID name is “–CHANNEL1–”, the following
message appeares on the display.
