Warning: To eliminate the risk of burns by reaching over heated surface units, cabinet storage space located above surface units should be avoided. If cabinet storage is to be

! provided, the risk can be reduced by installing a range hood that projects horizontally a minimum of 5” beyond the bottom of the cabinets.

Before making the countertop cutout, check for clearance. Check to see if the cook top will clear the front and side walls of the base cabinet. It is also important to provide enough ventilation.

Adequate ventilation of the space below the

countertop must be provided to ensure proper

operation of the cook top. Heat transferred from

the cook top bottom pan during operation will

overheat an improperly ventilated area.

UL/C-UL specifications

Kenyon UL and C-UL are sophisticated induction cooktops that seamlessly merge modern technology with user-friendly design, elevating the culinary experience. Kenyon is renowned for its commitment to innovative cooking solutions, and the UL and C-UL models epitomize the brand’s vision of efficiency, safety, and style.

One of the standout features of Kenyon UL/C-UL cooktops is their induction heating technology. Unlike traditional gas or electric cooktops that transfer heat through direct contact, induction cooktops use electromagnetic fields to heat pots and pans directly. This results in faster cooking times and greater energy efficiency, as heat is generated only when compatible cookware is placed on the surface. Users can expect to boil water quickly, sear meats to perfection, and achieve precise temperature control, making these cooktops ideal for both novice cooks and professional chefs alike.

Another critical characteristic is the sleek design that complements any kitchen aesthetic. The UL and C-UL cooktops feature a minimalist surface composed of durable materials that are easy to clean. Spills do not burn onto the surface due to the low temperatures around the cook zone, making maintenance a breeze. The elegant appearance of these cooktops not only enhances the kitchen's visual appeal but also provides a functional workspace.

Safety is paramount in kitchen appliances, and Kenyon does not compromise in this area. The UL/C-UL models come equipped with features such as automatic shut-off, which activates when cookware is removed or if there is a malfunction. In addition, these cooktops have child-lock capabilities, ensuring that little hands won’t accidentally turn on the heat.

The UL/C-UL models are also adaptable, accommodating a variety of cooking styles. With multiple heat settings and customizable zones, users can prepare various dishes simultaneously, from simmering sauces to stir-frying vegetables. The versatility of the cooktops makes them suitable for diverse culinary techniques, thus inviting creativity in meal preparation.

In summary, the Kenyon UL and C-UL cooktops represent a harmonious blend of cutting-edge technology, safety, and stylish design. Their induction heating system promises quick and efficient cooking, while their aesthetic appeal makes them a perfect fit for any contemporary kitchen. With features prioritizing user safety and convenience, these cooktops are certainly a noteworthy addition for anyone passionate about cooking.
