Pro Tip: To get the best performance from your new KICKER Amplifi er and extend the warranty by 1 year, use genuine KICKER accessories and wiring.

INSTALLATION

Mounting: Choose a structurally sound location to mount your KICKER amplifi er. Make sure there are no items behind the area where the screws will be driven. Choose a location that allows at least 4” (10cm) of open ventilation for the amplifi er. If possible, mount the amplifi er in the climate-controlled passenger compartment. Drill four holes using a 7/64” (3mm) bit and use the supplied #8 screws to mount the amplifi er.

Wiring: Disconnect the vehicle’s battery to avoid an electrical short. Then, connect the ground wire to the amplifi er. Make the ground wire short, 24” (60cm) or less, and connect it to a paint-and-corrosion-free, solid, metal area of the vehicle’s chassis. Adding an additional ground wire of this same gauge (or larger) between the battery’s negative post and the vehicle chassis is recommended.

The ZX amplifi er has dual input sensitivity differential RCA inputs which will receive either high or low level signals from your car stereo’s source unit. Ideally, when connecting the source unit to the amplifi er, the ZX amplifi er’s input level switch should be set to “LO” and a low-level signal should run from the source unit’s stereo RCA

ZX300.4, ZX300.2, ZX300.3 specifications

Kicker, a leader in the audio industry, has consistently impressed audiophiles with innovative amplifiers, and the Kicker ZX series exemplifies that commitment to quality and performance. The Kicker ZX300.3, ZX300.2, and ZX300.4 models are integral parts of this line, showcasing distinctive features and cutting-edge technology tailored for car audio enthusiasts.

The Kicker ZX300.3 is a 3-channel amplifier that delivers powerful sound with a compact design. It features a maximum power of 300 watts, with 100 watts RMS for each of its two channels and an additional 100 watts for the sub-channel. This versatility allows users to drive both speakers and a subwoofer simultaneously, making it an ideal choice for those looking to enhance their vehicle's sound system. The ZX300.3 is also equipped with a variable crossover that allows for fine-tuning of the frequency response, ensuring that every note is crisp and clear.

Next in the lineup is the Kicker ZX300.2, a 2-channel amplifier that offers a robust power output of 300 watts. With 150 watts RMS per channel, this model delivers a clean and powerful performance that brings the music to life. Its compact form factor means it can fit snugly in tight spaces, making it suitable for a variety of vehicles. The ZX300.2 is designed with a variable high-pass crossover, providing flexibility for different applications and speaker types, helping users achieve the best sound possible.

Completing the series is the Kicker ZX300.4, a 4-channel amplifier that rounds out the lineup with impressive power and functionality. It outputs a maximum of 300 watts, providing 75 watts RMS per channel. This makes it an excellent option for those looking to power four speakers in a full-range setup or to run a combination of speakers and a subwoofer. Like its counterparts, the ZX300.4 features a variable crossover network, allowing users to customize the sound to fit their preferences.

All three models come with a durable heat-sink design that helps maintain optimal operating temperatures, ensuring reliability during long listening sessions. They also encompass Kicker’s signature durability, designed to withstand the rigors of vehicle use.

In summary, the Kicker ZX300.3, ZX300.2, and ZX300.4 amplifiers offer a range of features that cater to diverse audio needs, whether it's driving speakers, powering subwoofers, or achieving a balanced sound. With their advanced technologies and flexible configurations, these amplifiers are exceptional choices for car audio enthusiasts seeking high-quality sound without compromise.
