Remove tape that covers shipping strap. Pull to completely remove the shipping strap from the inside of the washer.
Pull llrmly IO remove the olher end ot shipping strap from the back of the washer. The shipping strap plug must be completely removed from the washer for the
Save the shlpplng strap for use In Step 17.
2 Read, then remove label that W covers power cord and drain connector. Peel the tape down and ott
each side 01cabinet.
Use new hos’es and washers lhal came with your washer. .

Insert a llat washer Into each end of the inlet hoses. Check that washers are firmly ;eated in couplings.

4 Attach hose to bottom Inlet valve n opening first; then second hose tc
top inlet. Tighten couplings by hand. Then use pliers to make an additional
5 Place hose n clamp over
washer drain connector. Push coupling end 01 drain hose onto washer connector. Use pliers to open clamp and slide clamp over drain hose. Check tor good tit.
Floor Damage
Slide washer onto cardboard or hardboard before moving acrose
1floor.
Failure lo do so may cauo’e damage to lloor coverlng.

7 Move washer close to llnal
W position, Put ‘hook’end of drain hose Into laundry tub or standplpe. Check for proper lenglh of draln hose.

If drain hose
Is too long -
dtsconnect. Remove clamp and couplings. Eslimate length of drain hose needed. Cut flexible end 01 hose.
(Do not cut
IO NOT FORCE EXCESS LENGTH OF IRAIN HOSE DOWN THE STANDPIPE. rHlS COULD CAUSE SIPHONING.
9 Before attaching water Inlet m hose, run water through both
faucets Into a buckel. This will get rtd Ot particles in the water lines that might clog
hoses.
10 Attach bottom hose (inlet n marked
faucet. Attach top hose (inlet marked ‘c’) to cold water faucet, Tighten couplings to faucets by hand; then use pllen lo make linal
