NOTE: If the last cycle you completed was a rinse cycle, the dishwasher will run the last full wash cycle and options that you selected when you press Start.

If you do not run the dishwasher daily, close the door to maintain memory.

A “●” shows what steps are in each cycle. Your model may have some or all of the cycles shown.

Temperatures indicate where extra heat is added.

Water usage is shown in U.S. gallons/liters.

Cycle time includes dry time. An asterisk ( * ) by the cycle time indicates the cycle time might be longer depending on the temperature of the water entering the dishwasher.

The cooler the water, the longer the cycle time. If the water is already hot enough, the cycle time will be as shown.

One of the key features of the KitchenAid KUDM25SH is its ProWash Cycle. This intelligent cycle automatically determines the appropriate wash cycle based on the soil level and load size, ensuring optimal cleaning performance every time. Similarly, the KUDI25CH offers a comparable system that adjusts the wash cycle based on sensor feedback, which enhances water and energy efficiency.

Another significant characteristic is the Quiet Wash system. Both models operate at a remarkably low noise level, making them an excellent choice for open-concept living spaces or homes where peace and quiet are cherished. The strategically designed wash arms and insulated tanks minimize sound without compromising cleaning effectiveness.

For flexibility in loading, both dishwashers feature an adjustable upper rack, allowing for easy accommodation of taller items, such as stemware or large baking dishes. The KUDM25SH incorporates the Soft Grip stemware holders, while the KUDI25CH includes a dedicated third rack for utensils or small kitchen tools, maximizing the available loading space.

In terms of cleaning technology, both models come equipped with a powerful filtering system that traps food particles to ensure they do not redeposit on clean dishes. The high-efficiency wash system uses a combination of high-pressure spray jets and heated water to dissolve tough stains, resulting in sparkling clean dishes.

Innovatively designed interiors enhance usability and convenience in both dishwashers. They boast stainless steel interiors, which resist odors and stains, while the smooth surface makes for easier cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, the models feature a sleek control panel that is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing users to select from multiple wash cycles and options effortlessly.

Energy efficiency is a priority for KitchenAid, and both the KUDM25SH and KUDI25CH have earned Energy Star certification, meaning they consume less water and energy than standard models, contributing to lower utility bills and a reduced environmental footprint.
