4'' Two-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker

RB-10

The Reference Series RB -10 bookshelf loudspeaker is part of Klipsch’s new entry- level Reference 10 family that offers the same advanced technology and world-class materials as the Reference III models but from smaller enclosures and at lower price points.

As the smallest bookshelf loudspeaker Klipsch has ever made, the RB-10 employs a 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver loaded with a 4-inch square Tractrix® Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency.

The woofer on the RB -10 still features Klipsch’s distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic™ material. Made with an anodized aluminum, this cone is strong with low mass. The anodizing process converts its inner and out surface to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer’s operating range.

As in all Reference Series speakers, the RB-10 crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film- type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration.

The RB-10 has both a back-panel keyhole for on-wall mounting and a threaded insert for attachment to popular adjustable wall and ceiling brackets. Available in a black vinyl finish, the RB-10 features a low-diffraction sculpted baffle and magnetically attached grille for an elegant fit and finish.

RB-10 specifications

The Klipsch RB-10 bookshelf speaker is a notable entry in Klipsch's esteemed line of audio products, renowned for their quality and performance. Designed for audiophiles and casual listeners alike, the RB-10 delivers impressive sound in a compact package, making it an excellent choice for both small and large spaces.

One of the standout features of the RB-10 is its use of Klipsch's proprietary Tractrix Horn technology. This design enhances the speaker's high-frequency response while providing a highly efficient acoustic presentation. The horn-loaded tweeter allows for wider dispersion of sound, ensuring that listeners enjoy consistent audio quality regardless of their position in the room. This technology dramatically improves clarity and detail in high frequencies, making vocals and instruments sound natural and crisp.

The RB-10 also incorporates a dynamic 4-inch copper-spun woofer, which contributes to the speaker's ability to reproduce deep bass tones without distortion. The woofer is designed using lightweight materials, which enhances its responsiveness and reduces fatigue typically associated with lengthy listening sessions. Coupled with the tweeter, the RB-10 creates a balanced sound profile that excels across various genres of music.

Another notable characteristic of the RB-10 is its build quality. Featuring a robust MDF cabinet, the speaker minimizes resonance and interference, allowing for a purer sound output. The elegant detailing, including a satin black finish and a detachable grille, adds a touch of sophistication that makes it a stylish addition to any home décor.

Connectivity is another strong point for the RB-10, as it can easily integrate into a wide range of home audio systems. With a frequency response range of 70Hz to 24kHz, it’s capable of handling a wide array of audio signals, making it suitable for both music and home theater use. Its compact design enables easy placement on shelves or stands, allowing for optimal positioning to achieve the best sound.

In summary, the Klipsch RB-10 offers an impressive combination of advanced technologies, exceptional sound quality, and stylish design. With Tractrix Horn technology, a powerful woofer, and sturdy construction, it’s a versatile speaker that meets the demands of any audio enthusiast, ensuring an immersive listening experience. Whether used in a stereo setup or as part of a larger home theater system, the RB-10 exemplifies Klipsch’s commitment to delivering outstanding performance and value.
