Infinity focus

In this mode, you can capture sharp, distant scenery when you take pictures outdoors.

1.Press the ON/OFF BUTTON (2) to open the lens cover and to turn the camera ON.

2.Press the SELECT/FLASH BUTTON (20) repeatedly until the INFINITY-FOCUS

INDICATOR (31) appears on the

LCD PANEL (11).

3.Frame your subject within the VIEWFINDER

EYEPIECE (10).

4.Press the SHUTTER BUTTON (1) to take the picture.

USING THE

SELF-TIMER

Use this feature to include yourself in pictures.

1.Use the TRIPOD SOCKET (21) to attach the camera to a tripod or place it on another firm support.

2.Press the ON/OFF BUTTON (2) to open the lens cover and to turn the camera ON.

3.Press the ENTER/SELF-TIMER BUTTON (18).

4.Frame your picture in the VIEWFINDER

EYEPIECE (10).

5.Press the SHUTTER BUTTON (1). The SELF-

TIMER LAMP (5) on the front of the camera will blink for approximately 10 seconds before the picture is taken.

To cancel the self-timer selection before the shutter releases, repress the enter/self-timer button or turn the camera off.

The self-timer automatically turns off after the shutter releases.
