Procedure
IMPORTANT:Ifyoubefieve thero is a prob- lemwith yourunit, pleasecontactyourdeal- er, distributor, or the Krell factoryimmedi- ately Donot return any unit to KrelP for repair withoutfirst discussingthe problem and obtaining a Return Authorization Number.
To return a product, the owner is requiredto:
¯Obtain a ReturnAuthorization Number (R/A number) and shipping address fromthe Krell ServiceDepartment.
¯Insureandacceptall liability for lossor damageto the product during shipment to the Krell factory andprepayall ship- ping charges.Theproductmayalso be handdeliveredif arrangementswith the Service Departmenthavebeenmadein advance.Proof of purchasemaybe re- quiredfor warrantyvalidationat the time of handdelivery.
¯Usethe original packagingto insurethe safetransit of theproductto thefactory, dealer, or distributor. Theuseof any packagingmaterialotherthanthe original
packagingmaterials is not recommend- ed.Krell®may,at its discretion,returna product in newpackagingandbill the
ownerfor suchpackagingif the product received by Krell ®wasboxedin non- standardpackagingor if the original
packagingwasso damagedthat it was unusable.If Krell®determinesthat new packagingis required,the ownerwill be notified beforethe productis returned. To purchase additional packaging,

dealer,distributor, or the Krell Service Departmentfor assistance.
Krell ®is not responsible for any damage

incurredin transit. Krell will file claimsfor damagesas necessaryfor products dam-
agedin transit to the factory. Theowneris responsiblefor filing claimsfor shippingdam- agesthat occurduringthe return shipment.
Replacementparts and/or productswill be furnished on an exchangebasis only; any
partsand/orproductsreturnedto Krell®for ®.

Noexpressedor implied warrantyis made for anyKrell productdamagedby accident, abuse,misuse,naturalor personaldisaster, or unauthorizedmodification.
In the eventthat Krell®receivesa product for warrantyservice whichhasbeenmodi- fied in anywaywithoutKrell authorization, all warrantiesonthat productwill bevoid. Theproductwill bereturnedto original fac- tory layout specifications at the owner's expensebeforeit is repaired. All repairs requiredafter the producthasbeenreturned to original factory specification will be chargedto the customer,at current parts andlaborrates.
