TheProcessor

1.Theprocessoritself is notparticularlysensitiveto placementIt. maybepositioned anywherein yourcomponentstackso longas it is withinreachof thepowersupply spanningcables.

PLACEMENT

1.Placethepowersupplyin its selectedlocation,insertingthefemaleendof theAC cordinto thesocketontherear of its chassis.THEMALEENDIS STILLNOTPLUGGED INTOTHEWALL!

2.ATTHISTIME,VERIFYTHATTHE"ON/OFF"SWITCHONTHEPOWERSUPPLYIS IN THE"OFF"(DOWN)POSITION.

3.Runthebluespanningcablesto the selectedprocessorlocation.

4.Positiontheprocessorin its appointedlocationin sucha waythat theunitwillnot fall if notheld,yetleavingaccessto all rearpanelconnections.

CONNECTIONS

Power

1.Insert the twopowersupplySpanningCableconnectorsinto their appropriate AnalogandDigitalsocketsandfirmlytightenthe thumbscrews.

Caution:Donot use anytool other thanyourfingers for tightening the connectorsIt. is unnecessary,andmayphysicallydamageyourcomponent. Note:Thespanningcables are terminatedin computerindustrystandard,gold plated"D'~connectorsTheir.differentsizesandkeyedprofileseliminateanypos- sibility of anincorrectconnection.

Digital Inputs

1.Connectthe DigitalOutputfromthe KrellDigitalMD-CD1Turntableor yourCD/ DATplayerto the DigitalInputonthe rear of yourprocessorYour.SBP-64Xwill accommodateinput fromeither the coaxialor optical outputsfromanyCD/DAT or Satellitebroadcastsource.
