- In case of excess limescale, descale the kettle according to the instruc- tions in the DESCALING section.
nThe water has a plastic taste:
-This usually happens when the kettle is brand new. Discard the water you boil the first few times. If the problem persists, fill the kettle up and add two teaspoons of baking soda. Boil the water and discard it. Rinse the kettle.
IF YOUR KETTLE HAS FALLEN, IF IT IS LEAKING, OR IF THE POWER CORD, PLUG OR BASE ARE VISIBLY DAMAGED
nConsult the nearest KRUPS After Sales Service Center and the warranty included at the end of these instructions.
nDo not use the kettle. No attempt should be made to disassemble the product or override the safety devices. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a KRUPS After Sales Service Center, or any person with similar qualifications.
