17-To disconnect the machine, turn the control to “OFF”, then remove plug from wall outlet. Do not yank cord, instead grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

18-Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

19-Do not pour liquids other than water and descaling solutions specified in this manual into the water tank.

20-Protect the machine against humidity and freezing.

A. The carafe is designed for use only with this appliance. It must never be used on a range top.

C. Do not use a cracked carafe or a carafe having a loose or weakened handle.

D. Do not clean carafe with harsh cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
