FUNCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
1.Un Interruptor de Seguridad Basculante está incorporado para evitar el funcionamiento si el Calentador se cae.
2.Se incorpora un protector contra sobrecargas térmicas para impedir el sobrecalentamiento.
3.Si el Calentador percibe que la temperatura de la habitación es demasiado alta, el Calentador se apagará, la pantalla comenzará a parpadear y la LUZ DE CALENTAMIENTO también parpadeará. Para reiniciar la unidad, desconecte el Calentador y espere 10 minutos hasta que el Calentador se enfríe.
4.Después que el Calentador se haya enfriado, siga las instrucciones de funcionamiento descriptas en este manual.
CONSEJOS DE SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Si su Calentador se apaga inesperadamente o no funciona, el elemento de seguridad arriba mencionado podría haber sido activado para evitar el sobrecalentamiento.
1.Asegúrese que el cable eléctrico esté conectado a un tomacorriente eléctrico en funcionamiento.
2.Verifique la posición de su Temperatura. El Calentador puede haberse apagado por haber alcanzado la posición de temperatura deseada.
3.Si su Calentador opera durante varios minutos y se apaga repetidamente, es posible que el mismo requiera limpieza. Ver la sección de Mantenimiento abajo.

MANTENIMIENTO
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico e incendio por favor obedezca las siguientes instrucciones.
Limpiar el Calentador regularmente ayudará a mantener su eficiencia.
OPERATION
The Heater may be operated by the manual controls located on the Heater (as shown in Figure 1).
1. Place the Heater on a firm, level surface.
CAUTION: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may leave a residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/or hardwood floors.
2. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet.
Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet.
When plugs fit loosely into receptacles, they may slip partially or completely out of the receptacle with only the slight movement of the attached cord. Receptacles in this condition may overheat and pose a serious fire hazard; if covered by a curtain or drape, the fire hazard is even greater.
3.When the Heater is initially plugged in, there will be a ‘beep’ and the power light will come on indicating that there is power to the unit. The power light will remain lit until the Heater is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
4.Turn the Heater ON by pressing the (
).
5.Upon turning the Heater on, the unit will be in HIGH heat (1500 Watts).
6.Pressing the (
) at this point will set the Heater into LOW heat.
7.To turn the Heater OFF, press the (
) and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
TIMER FUNCTION
The timer function will work in any mode. The timer function al- lows you to set the length of operation from 1 hour to 7 hours. Pressing the Timer Button (
) will increase the length of opera- tion by 1 hour each time the button is pressed. Pressing the Timer Button (
) once more after the display reflects 7 hours will reset the Heater to continuously running. Once the timer has been set, the timer will count down the hours in 1 hour increments, showing on the display the remaining operating time. The Heater will turn itself off when the set time has elapsed. The unit can be turned back on by pressing the Power Button (
).

TEMPERATURE FUNCTION
To set the room at a specific temperature, press the (
) or (
) to the desired setting. The light under the chosen temperature will continue to blink until the room reaches the desired temperature. For increased efficiency, the Temperature Function will only run on High heat. When set on MAX, the Heater will run continuously.
LOUVER FUNCTION (Figure 2)
This Heater has a louver on the top front grill that allows for vertical adjustment of air flow. Slide the louver control up or down to adjust the air flow as desired.
