Note for warranty:Duringthewarrantyperiod,thecustomermaybe
responsibleforrepaircostsifthecomputerdamagewascausedbymisuse,
accident,modification,unsuitablephysicaloroperatingenvironment,or
impropermaintenancebythecustomer.
Thefollowingisalistofsomecommonitemsthatarenotcoveredunder
warrantyandsomesymptomsthatmightindicatethatthesystemwassubjected

•Fusesblownbyattachmentofanonsupporteddevice
•Forgottencomputerpassword(makingthecomputerunusable)
•Stickykeyscausedbyspillingaliquidontothekeyboard

The following symptoms might indicate damage caused by nonwarranted
activities:
•Missingpartsmightbeasymptomofunauthorizedserviceormodification.
•Ifthespindleofaharddiskdrivebecomesnoisy,itmayhavebeensubjected
