Matching Dimming Remote
The Vizia-RF 1-Zone Dimming Controller/Matching Dimming Remote is part of Leviton’s Vizia-RF Wireless Home Control System. These devices combine the popular Vizia™ line of lighting devices with the award-winning Z-Wave® RF-based home control technology to deliver the first line of truly dependable, scalable and practical wireless home control devices that will set the standard for residential control system performance for decades to come.
The Vizia-RF Wireless Home Control System provides scalable, easy-to-install, retrofit ready, remote control of appliances and lighting as well as one-button scene and zone lighting control that lets you instantly create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. And, best of all, Vizia-RF does all of this without any of the interference and less-than-consistent performance of previous home control systems.
APPLICATION
The Vizia-RF 1-Zone Dimming Controller/Matching Dimming Remote is ideal for remote ON/OFF/DIM/BRIGHT control of a single zone of Vizia-RF scene-capable devices. Controlled lighting can react individually or as part of a zone of lights to provide an elegant and convenient “one-touch” lighting experience. The device also can act as a Matching Dimming Remote, providing 3-Way, multi-location or virtual 3-Way remote ON/OFF/DIM/ BRIGHT control of a selected RF dimmer without the need for traditional 3-Way wiring or a dedicated traveler wire. The Controller fits in a standard wallbox and utilizes existing 120VAC 60Hz wiring to replace a regular switch or dimmer (when a neutral wire is present) for easy ”no-new-wires” installation. The Controller uses Z-Wave RF protocol transmissions to control other Leviton Vizia-RF devices as well as Z-Wave compliant devices from other manufacturers. These devices include, but are not necessarily limited to, in-wall dimmers and switches, and plug-in dimmer and appliance modules. The push pad with return-to- neutral design provides ON/OFF preset switching and a separate Dim/Bright bar provides DIM/BRIGHT control.
