Viewing the Display Screen
This list identifies the symbols you’ll see on your display screen.
shows your current signal strength.
The more lines you have, the stronger your signal.
means your phone cannot find a signal.
tells you a call is in progress.
indicates you are “roaming” off the Sprint Nationwide
PCS Network. (If you are roaming on an analog system, your
phone’s main display will show both the roaming icon and an
“Analog Roam” text alert.)
indicates you have new text messages.
indicates you have voicemail messages.
Press and hold to call your voicemail.
indicates you have new text and voice messages.
indicates you have new downloads.
indicates you are connected to PCS Vision Services.
indicates your phone’s Position Location feature is active.
indicates your phone is operating in TTYmode. (For
information on your phone’s TTY capability, see page 37.)
shows your current battery charge strength.
(Icon shown fully charged.)

and whether you’re operating in digital or
analog mode.
