Broken Audio/Video on

Tuner or No Signal

Verify that the antenna(s) are installed and pointed properly.

For example:

Check the antenna cabling. Ensure that each cable is good and that connections are secure both at the antenna distribution center and at the OAT100R. Fix and verify as necessary.

Ensure the antenna is pointed so as to achieve the best signal quality.

Ensure the signal level at each OAT100R RF input is balanced within the recommended range (see OAT100R Setup Information).

If applicable, check that the amplifier/splitter is operating properly.

Access the OAT100R Tuner Information display (via GUI or command line).

Check that all applicable tuners are powered ON and locked to an antenna signal, and then check the signal-to-noise ratio, FEC errors, and input bitrates for each tuner.

Note: In the GUI, the Tuner Information display provides data for each of the OAT100R tuners. If using the command line interface, you will be able to access one tuner’s information at a time.

Note: For each tuner, the signal-to-noise ratio should be greater than 18, there should be zero (0) FEC errors, and the input bitrates should equal 19.4 Mbps.
