C. Circuit Overloading

Consideration should be given to the con- nection of the equipment to the supply circuit and the effect that overloading of the circuits might have on overcurrent protection and supply wiring.

D. Reliable Earthing

Maintain reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment. Particular attention should be given to supply connections other than direct connections to the branch circuit (e.g. use of power strips).

E.Mains Outlet Earthing

The apparatus with Class I construction must be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.

PCS100R Installation on a Flat Surface

To install the PCS100R on a level surface (table top, shelf, stacked with other equipment, etc.):

•Carefully place the PCS100R on a level surface.

•Note the operating temperature from the speci- fications.

•Do NOT stack other equipment on the top of the PCS100R.

•If necessary, place spacers or rubber feet (not provided) on top and bottom.
