Phone Setup Options
Shortcut
Your phone offers you the option of assigning a shortcut key to a
favorite or often-used function.Pressing the navigation key to the left
in standby mode will launch your personally designated shortcut.
To assign your shortcut key:
1. Press Menu(left softkey)to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings().
3. Select Setup().
4. Select Shortcut ( ).(An informative window displays.)
5. Read the information and press .
6. Using the navigation key or your keypad,select the desired
shortcut you would like to assign and press .
7. Press to return to standby mode.
Call Answer Mode
You can determine how to answer incoming calls on your phone,
whether you want to be required to press , to press any number
key,or simply to open the phone.
To set call answer mode:
1. Press Menu(left softkey)to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings().
3. Select Setup().
4. Select Call Answer ().
5. To select an option,highlight it and press .
䡲Open/Any Keyto allow an incoming call to be answered
by opening the phone or by pressing any key.
䡲Talk Onlyto require to be pressed to answer all
incoming calls.
