Installation Instructions for Recessed ProSpec™, In-Line, "L",

"T", and "X" Connectors /Circuit Diagrams

For use with Recessed ProSpec™ Track System Only.

WIRING THE CONNECTOR(S)

Use 12 ga. solid copper wire when feeding the connector(s). Each circuit is rated for 120V, 60Hz, 20 AMPs.

NOTE: The "L", "T", "X", and In-Line Connector allow for multiple circuits to be introduced into them. The Connectors are not polarized and can be installed into the track in any orientation. Therefore, identification of the circuits during wiring needs to be controlled by the installer or electrician. The brass screw terminals are for the hot

leads. The silver screw terminals are for the neutral leads, and the terminals marked "GND" are for the ground. The individual circuit(s) are arranged vertically. (See diagrams). The "L" and In-Line Connectors are pre-wired. These wires may be removed if the wiring needs to be different. Loosen the screw terminals and remove the wires.

1.Form the wires to the screw terminals, strip the insulation back 1/2".

2.Slip the wire under the terminal screw head. Tighten all screw terminals when wiring is completed.

3.Snap bottom cover onto the connector to cover the wires.
