INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING SUSPENDED PowerWash

T5 SUSPENSION HOUSING TO LYTESPAN TRACK:

WARNING: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, TURN OFF

POWER TO TRACK. NEVER PLACE AIRCRAFT CABLE

INSIDE TRACK CAVITY (see Fig. 3).

Turn off power to track.

Remove LOUVER (see Page 3).

3.Slide out both SOCKET BRACKETS (see Fig. 21). No tools required. Pull with hands.

4.Insert LAMP into SOCKET and rotate LAMP 90fl locking it

For two LAMP luminaire, repeat step 4 for the second LAMP.

Push SOCKET BRACKETS back into their original position

 

(see Fig. 22).

7.To remove LAMP, repeat steps 1-3. Rotate LAMP(s) 90fl and remove from SOCKET.

1.Remove WARNING LABEL on SUSPENSION HOUSING. See Fig. 1.

2.Unwrap AIRCRAFT CABLE. While depressing CABLE LOCK, pull AIRCRAFT CABLE through, leaving approx 1" above CABLE LOCK. See Fig. 1.

3.Insert SUPSENSION HOUSINGS into TRACK with ARROW on bottom of HOUSING pointing toward BEAD on TRACK. See Fig. 2.

4.Rotate SUSPENSION HOUSINGS 90fl clockwise. See Fig. 2.

5.Adjust suspension length and leveling by pulling AIRCRAFT CABLES through CABLE LOCK. See Fig. 3.

NOTE: To lower luminaire, hold CABLE, depress CABLE LOCK, and pull CABLE down. See. Fig 3.

NOTE: A two lamp luminaire will not operate with only one lamp. Assure that both lamps are properly installed. Also, both lamps will extinguish when one fails.

6.If future suspension length adjustment is desired, up to two feet of AIRCRAFT CABLE can be wrapped around HOUSING BODY and pinned down using HOUSING SLOTS as shown in Fig. 4. If no adjustment will be desired, cut AIRCRAFT CABLE leaving approx 1/2" above CABLE LOCK. Crimp COPPER STOP (provided) onto AIRCRAFT CABLE. See Fig. 5.

WARNING: If Mounting on wall or sloped ceiling, COPPER STOP must always be used

7. Slide up HOUSING COVER and snap onto SUSPENSION

CAUTION: ALLOW TIME FOR LUMINAIRE TO COOL BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS!

Rotate HEAD of luminaire to desired position. Luminaire has rotation stops (DO NOT FORCE LUMINAIRE PAST STOPS. DOING SO MAY CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL HAZARD). HEAD

8. To remove or reposition on track, rotate SUSPENSION

HOUSING 90fl counter clockwise. See Fig. 2.

NOTE: To reposition HOUSING, HOUSING COVER does not have to be removed.

Pull CORD through POWER STEM HOUSING. See Fig. 9.

Strip CORD and WIRES to lengths shown in Fig. 9.

WARNING: Do not damage WHITE, BLACK, or GREEN insulation.

Tie knot in CORD as shown in Fig. 9.

Twist strands of wire together and form a "J" loop. See Fig. 10.

Connect: GREEN WIRE to GREEN SCREW MARKED "GND"
