Log in the DVD player as described in the TV operating manual.

The signal box has two coaxial digital audio inputs 1/2. Connect the output socket of the DVD player (DIG OUT) to the digital audio input socket (DIGITAL IN 1 or 2) of the signal box with a cinch cable.

Also make a connection for the picture and analogue sound signal (mono or stereo). Plug the Euro-AV cable into the "Euro AV 1/ Audio/ Video" socket on the DVD player and into the Euro-AV socket AV 3 on the signal box.

Digital output

The digital sound signal is present at the socket DIGITAL OUT of the TV set. You can connect here, say, an external Dolby digital decoder.

Digital input/output

The integrated ÓDigital Input SelectorÓ is a comfortable electronic switch with about 4 inputs and one output for digital sound signals. Connect the Loewe Certos/Concertos system or a digital receiver to the digital output (DIGITAL OUT) of the TV set. This switch makes two digital inputs (DIGITAL In 1 and 2) available to you for external devices.

The TV set uses the other two inputs. The TV set or a DVD player or another sound source, connected to one of the AV connector sockets of the TV set, thus converts a digital signal (PCM) and outputs it to the socket ÒDIGITAL OUTÓ. You connect the digital sound output of the DVD/CD player to the digital input 1 or 2 on the TV set by means of a Cinch cable. The digital signal from the DVD player is outputted unaltered at the digital output of the TV set. You connect the video output of the DVD player to the AV connection socket AV3, AV2, by means of an AV connecting cable, depending on the default in the ÒConnectionsÒ menu of the TV set.
