Description

The Manual Call Point 55100-908 complies with the standard EN 54-11/A and is designed for use in ADM loops with Apollo/Discovery protocol.

The detector is activated by pressing in the pane of plastic. By means of a special key, the pane can be put back to the idle position, thereby resetting the de- tector.

The two-coloured status LED indicates the activation of the detector in red colour and the fault condition in yel-

low colour. The detector address is selected by means of a DIL switch. A dual-isolator, which is integrated into the detector, disconnects the adjacent loop elements fast and safely in case of a short circuit.

The detector is fi tted into a plastic case and can be mounted on a 60mm fl ush-mount installation box. By means of the supplied case, surface mounting on a wall is also possible.

55100-908 specifications

LST 55100-908 is a modern landing ship tank (LST) class vessel designed to support amphibious operations and transport heavy equipment and troops to shore in various marine environments. With a notable focus on versatility, this vessel is engineered to accommodate a wide range of military and humanitarian missions, making it a vital asset for naval forces.

One of the primary characteristics of LST 55100-908 is its large deck space, which can carry a substantial payload. Designed to transport tanks, armored vehicles, and personnel, the ship features a well deck that can house multiple amphibious vehicles. This allows for rapid deployment during operations, ensuring that troops and equipment can be landed directly onto hostile shores or provided to humanitarian relief efforts where traditional infrastructure may be lacking.

The LST is powered by advanced diesel engines that provide a balance of speed and fuel efficiency. This propulsion system is paired with a sophisticated hull design, enabling the ship to navigate shallow waters where larger vessels cannot operate. The vessel's robust construction includes reinforced decks and hulls, allowing it to weather rough seas and sustain military operations in adverse conditions.

In terms of technology, LST 55100-908 is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and communication systems. Advanced radar and sonar systems enhance situational awareness, allowing ship crews to effectively plan and execute missions. Additionally, the vessel is designed with integrated command and control systems that facilitate coordination with other naval forces, ensuring successful amphibious operations.

The interiors of LST 55100-908 are optimized for crew comfort and operational efficiency. The ship includes living quarters, a galley, and spaces for medical emergencies, which are essential for sustained missions. Furthermore, the vessel's deck is designed for quick loading and unloading operations, featuring a bow ramp for vehicles to drive directly on and off the ship, facilitating rapid deployment in dynamic environments.

In summary, LST 55100-908 represents a significant advancement in landing ship technology, characterized by its large payload capacity, advanced propulsion systems, and modern operational features. Its design promotes versatility and effectiveness in both military and humanitarian missions, making it an indispensable component of contemporary naval operations. As global threats evolve, vessels like the LST 55100-908 will continue to play a critical role in ensuring maritime security and responding to crises across the globe.
