Description

The Intrinsically Safe Optical Smoke Detector SLR-E-IS uses the scattered light principle and was developed for the detection of smoke particles in explosion-prone rooms. The modern design of the sensing chamber al- lows to reliably evaluate the characteristics of fi re.

Conventional technology is used for alarm transmission to the fi re detection control panel. In conjunction with the Safety Barrier ES58-2, the detector reaches the given

Ex classifi cation. The two LEDs with 360° visibility indi- cate the activated condition of the detector. By means of an auxiliary module, the connection to an ADM loop is possible.

A detector function test can be conducted by using test gas. The detector is attached to the IS Detector Base YBN-R/4IS.
