Sterilization of rasp blade, holder and drive shaft
The rasp blade, holder and drive shaft must be sterilized each time the tool is used and between each horse, to prevent the spread or cross infection of any disease, virus, etc. They can be sterilized by boiling or in a disinfectant (which will not harm the horse's health) without removing them from the tool. But it is recommended rather that the sterilization be carried out by a suitable sterilizing unit after removal from the tool. In this case, the hex wrench to be used for assembling them also must be sterilized.
CAUTION :
