An adapter Fig. “B” and “C” is available for connecting Fig. “A” type plugs to two-prong
receptacles. The green-colored rigid ear, lug, etc., extending from the adapter must be con-
nected to a permanent ground, such as a properly grounded outlet box.

1. Accessoriesmust be rated for at least the
speed recommended on the tool warning
label.Wheels and other accessories r unning
over rated speed can fly apart and cause
injury.
2. Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces
when performing an operation where the
cutting tool may contact hiddenwiring or
its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire will
make exposed metal parts of the tool “live”
andshock the operator.
3. Always use safety glasses or goggles.
Ordinary eye or sun glasses are NOT
safetyglasses.
4. Useonly flanges specified for this tool.
5. NEVER use tool with woodcutting blades
or other sawblades. Such blades when
used on a sander frequently kick and
cause loss of control leading to personal
injury.
6. Holdthe tool firmly.
7. Keephands away from rotating parts.
8. Be careful not to damage the spindle, the
flange (especially the installing surface)
or the lock nut. Damage to these parts
couldresult in wheel breakage.
9. Make sure the abrasive disc or the wheel
isnot contacting the workpiece before the
switchis turned on.
10. Watch out for flyingsparks. Hold the tool
sothat sparks fly away from you and other
personsor flammable materials.
