Storing a MARKER in the DVD memory is similar to marking your page in a book. It allows you to quickly return to any point on the disc.

Storing a marker in the memory

1	Press MARKER during play at the starting
	point to be viewed (listened to) again.

	POWER			OPEN/CLOSE
	SETUP	REPEAT	A-B	RANDOM
	AUDIO	SUBTITLE	ANGLE	SURR.
	TOP MENU			MENU
		SELECT
		/ENTER
	OSD			RETURN
1	ZOOM	MARKER — SEARCH		DISC SKIP
	SCAN	PLAY		SKIP
		STOP
		PAUSE	SLOW

Indicates “1/9” is stored in the memory.

Up to 9 marks can be stored in the memory.

Recalling/Clearing a marker

2 Press SEARCH during playback.

The MARKER SEARCH menu will appear on the TV screen.

3	Press F/G to select the marker to be
	recalled/cleared.
4	Press SELECT/ENTER to recall a marker.
	Or press CLEAR to clear a marker.

Play resumes from the point corresponding to the selected marker, or the selected marker is cleared.

Notes

❍These operations work only with discs for which the elapsed playing time appears in the DVD display window during playback or stop.

❍Some subtitles recorded around the marker may fail to appear (DVD).

❍All the markers are cleared when the power is turned off or the disc is removed.

❍The marker is not stored when the DVD or title menu is displayed on the TV screen.
