USE
Inserting the carbon filter
The carbon bags (a) contain activated carbon. It filters the air and neutralises unpleasant smells during use of vacuum cleaner.
IMPORTANT! The activated carbon must remain in the bag. The bag must NOT be opened.
•Open the vacuum cleaner and remove the dust bag (or the container) as described in the user guide to the vacuum cleaner.
•Place one carbon filter bag containing activated carbon in the dust bag (or container).
•Reassemble the dust bag (or container) in the vacuum cleaner according to the instructions in the user guide to the vacuum cleaner.
•Discard the carbon filter bag together with the dust bag (or when the container is emptied).
NOTE: Store the carbon filter bags in a dry place.
I.Loosen the grip coupling (4).
II.Insert the tube from the vacuum cleaner into the grip coupling as far as it will go.
III. Tighten the grip coupling.
•The air valve (5) on the furniture nozzle can be opened for gentler cleaning of delicate furniture, curtains etc.
•If the appliance loses suction during use, it could be because the sweeping device (2) or the rotor (7) is stuck.
o Open the flap (6) at the underside of the floor nozzle.
o Check whether the sweeping device and the rotor are able to turn freely.
o Use a small brush to clean, if necessary.
•IMPORTANT! Check cause of fault and correct. Do not use appliance if any air passages are blocked. Permanent motor damage can result.
