CLEANING

6.Use the filler cap to add more ingredients during blending, if necessary. In that case, stop the blender before removing the cap to avoid splashes.

7.Remove the filler cap, the jug lid and the blender jug in reverse order. Hold the release button (1) down while twisting off the lid.

Important! If the blender is to be used to chop different types of food (e.g. raw meat followed by vegetables, or egg followed by fruit), you must wash the parts that come into contact with food between each type of food.

Using the coffee/spice mill (646-048)

The coffee/spice mill is ideal for grinding coffee beans and vari- ous spices.

1.Attach the mill to the blender shaft and turn it anticlockwise until it locks into place.

2.Place the items to be ground in the mill.

3.Fit the mill lid (10) by placing it on the mill and turning it antic- lockwise until it locks into place.

4.Start the blender.

5.Remove the mill lid and the mill in reverse order.

Storage

Ensure that the blender is clean and dry before storing.

CLEANING

Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall socket.

The best way to clean the base of the blender is to wipe it with a well-wrung cloth using hot water and a little detergent. The base must not be submerged in any form of liquid!

The blender jug, the coffee/spice mill, the two lids and the filler cap can be washed in the usual way.

Do not use any kind of strong or abrasive cleaning agent on the blender parts. Never use a scouring sponge or similar to clean the blender, as the surface may be damaged.
