TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If you experience a problem with this unit, please refer to the following chart
before requesting service.

SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

• Make sure the power cord (not included) is plugged in.
• Try another AC outlet.
• Make sure POWER is on.
• CHARGE switch is not in the proper position.
• Batteries are weak, dead or not inserted properly.
• Station experiencing problems, tune to another station.
• Check VOLUME adjustment.
• Check for sources of possible interference.
• Earphone is plugged into EARPHONE jack.
• Check antenna connections, reorient antenna.
• Check for sources of possible interference.
• Check picture adjustments.
• Station experiencing problems, tune to another station.
• Station experiencing problems, tune to another station.
• Station signal is weak, reorient antenna to receive weaker
station; connect an external antenna to the external
antenna adapter.
• Check for sources of possible interference.
• Station experiencing problems, tune to another station.
• Check antenna orientation.
• Check for sources of possible interference.
• Check antenna connections and reorient antenna.
• Check for sources of possible interference.
• If using an external antenna, check connections.
• Power interrupted.
• Adjust BRIGHTNESS control
• Adjust CONTRAST control
• Adjust V-HOLD control
