3.4.4Child Safety Lock (All Models)

The child safety lock is used to prevent children from operating the oven or to conserve standby power when the oven will not be used for an extended period of time.

To activate the child safety lock:

1.Slide the lock to position “O”.

2.The oven cannot be operated & the clock will not be displayed.

To deactivate the child safety lock:

1.Slide the lock to position “I”.

2.The oven can then be operated & the clock will be displayed.

Warning

Using the Child Safety Switch does NOT disconnect all sources of power within the oven. To safely disconnect power during service shut off the main supply via the circuit breaker.
