A temperature sensor will turn off the vacuum cleaner if it becomes too warm. This problem can occur if, for example, an object is blocking the suction tube or the FilterBags pores have become clogged with fine dust. The cause could also be a heavily soiled exhaust or dust compartment filter.
If this happens, turn off the vacuum cleaner and the Powerbrush and unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Once the cause has been addressed, allow the vacuum cleaner to cool for approx. 20 - 30 minutes before resuming vacuuming.
What if the Powerbrush automatically shuts off and the indicator displays a red light?
The blockage protection feature has been activated. This can occur if enough threads wrap around the beater bar or if a large or long object has been vacuumed up.
If this happens, turn off the Powerbrush, then switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
Once the blockage has been removed, the vacuum cleaner is ready for use.
