,Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the electrical supply before maintenance work and cleaning. Turn off power at the wall switch and unplug.
The Miele filter system consists of three filters which must be replaced regularly to ensure efficient suction:
a Dustbag
b Dust compartment filter (motor protection)
c Exhaust filter *
* Depending on the vacuum cleaner model, one of the following exhaust filters is included:
aSUPER air clean filter: An electrostatically charged,
b ACTIVE air clean filter: An active charcoal filter that absorbs odors in the dustbag. The filter can be used up to one year with normal use.
c HEPA filter: An odor absorbing filter that traps respirable particles and allergens. Vacuum cleaners equipped with this exhaust filter are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers and those concerned with a high level of hygiene. The filter can be used up to one year with normal use.
