Installing the drain hose (sink,gully)

,If you want to drain the
condensed water into a sink, secure
the hose carefully, e.g. by tying the
hose to the water faucet, to avoid
water damage.
^Use the curved guide to prevent the
drain hose from becoming kinked
(see "Front view" illustration).
Special Installation
,In special installation
circumstances, the non-return
valve must be installed. Water
flowing back from the dryer can
cause damage.
Special Installations are:
– Connection to a sink standpipe (see
example)
–Miscellaneous connections where
additional appliances like a washer
or dishwasher are connected also.
Example:Connection to a standpipe
The drain hose can be connected to a
special sink standpipe.
^Remove the adapter and the hose
clamp from behind from the lower
rear side of the dryer.

2 Sink coupling nut
3 Hose clamp
4 Hose extension (Accessory)
5 Non-return valve (Accessory)
6 Dryer drain hose
^Fit the adapter,1, to the stand pipe
using nut, 2. If this nut is sealed with
a flat disc, take the disc out.
^Attachthe end of the hose to the adap-
ter1and secure the hose clamp 3.
,The non-return valve 5must be
installed vertically (see illustration). If
installed horizontally, the non-return
valve will not work properly!
^Install the non-return valve 5at the
dryer drain hose 6.
Regard the direction, see illustration!
^Secure the non-return valve firmly
with the hose clamp (accessory).
