Basic TV Operation

Picture Settings

1.To get the best picture under different viewing con- ditions, set the Picture Mode first before changing other video settings. See page 21 for a description of the options.

a. Press VIDEO.

b. Press Picture Settings until the Picture Mode option displays.

c.Press Menu to make one of these selections:

Name

When to Use

Brilliant

Under bright light

Game

With gaming consoles (inputs

 

named Game or PC only)

Bright

For most daytime viewing

Natural

For most nighttime viewing

Cinema

For recreating theater colors

2.Press Page to display the name of another adjustment.

3.Press Audio ControlsMore TV Features to make the adjustment.

4.Wait a few seconds and the display will clear.

Changing the Audio Output

To switch from the internal TV speakers to an external sound system:

1.Press AUDIO.

2.Press Manual background to display the name of the adjustment you want. See page 22 for descriptions.

3.Press Manual background to change.

Controlling Sound Volume

• Press VOL Manual background / Manual background to adjust the sound level of the TV speakers.
