MONSTER HTFS500/ HTFS1000 POWERCENTER FEATURES

1.“On/Off Button“ (HTFS1000 only): Press to turn on/off the switched outlet (labeled as HDTV). Note: The ON/OFF button has no effects on the unswitched outlet (labeled as ACCESSORY), which remains on as long as the HTFS1000 is plugged into an active AC outlet.

2.“Reset/Off“ Switch (HTFS500 only): Switch to turn on/off both AC outlets on the HTFS500. Note 1: This RESET/OFF switch is also a circuit breaker.

Note 2: Both AC outlets (labeled as HDTV and ACCESSORY) on the HTFS500 are switched (turned on/off by the RESET/OFF switch).

3.“Voltage/Amperage“ Button (HTFS1000 only): Allows you to view either the input voltage (in volts, V) or current usage (in amps, A) of your system.

4.“Ground OK” Indicator: Indicates the PowerCenter is plugged into a properly grounded 120V AC outlet.

5.“Protection On” Indicator: Indicates Monster surge protection circuitry is functioning properly.

6.“Wiring Reversed” Indicator (HTFS1000 only): Indicates the line-neutral polarity is incorrect on the AC outlet that powers the PowerCenter. If the indicator is lit, unplug the PowerCenter and consult your local power company or a qualified electrician.

7.“Clean Power On” Indicator (HTFS1000 only): Indicates Monster Clean Power circuitry is functioning properly.

8.“Switched On” Indicator (HTFS1000 only): Indicates that the component plugged into the switched outlet (labeled as HDTV) will receive AC power when the ON/OFF button is pressed.

9.Input Voltage (V) / Current Usage (A) Digital Display (HTFS1000 only): In conjunction with the VOLTAGE/ AMPERAGE button, indicates either the input voltage (in volts, V) or current usage (in amps, A) of your system.
