General Text Entry Rules

Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its characters. See the “Character Chart” on page 28.

If you do not press a key for two seconds, the character in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves to the next position.

The first character of every sentence is capitalized. Press Sdown to force the character to lowercase while it is highlighted by the block cursor.

Your phone may support multiple languages. You can switch languages within a message. Press M to select the text mode and language you want to use.
