Baseband with Dolby Digital

This diagram illustrates audio and video connections to a Dolby Digital receiver. This configuration enables you to record on the VCR and playback with sound through the Dolby Digital receiver.

If you use the Dolby Digital SPDIF output, you must connect both the left/right baseband audio out from the DCT2000 and the SPDIF ports to the A/V receiver. The SPDIF port does not carry audio for analog.
