Text Message Inbox

The Text Message Inbox allows you to access, manage and create messages.

NOTE: The Inbox memory space can hold 14 messages with a maximum length of 160 characters for each message.

Receiving a Text Message

When you receive a new message, your phone displays New Message and gives an alert.

NOTE: You must set up the text message inbox before you can receive text messages. See“Text Msg Setup” on page 83.

Press C under READ to open the message (or your text message inbox if there are multiple messages).

Reading a Message

1From the Message Center screen, press S to scroll to Text Inbox. Press C under SELECT.

2In the Text Message Inbox, [Create Msg] is highlighted. Press R to scroll to message that you want to read. Press C under READ.

3Once you read the message, you have the choice of saving or deleting the message.

To see more choices, press q to access the Inbox Menu screen.

4In the Inbox Menu screen, press R to scroll to your desired choice. Press C under SELECT. Follow the prompts for that particular selection.
