enable security

You must enable security the first time you power on you phone or within 10 days of first activation.

1Press - under Ok.

2Your are prompted to enable security. Press - under Yes.

3Press oto return to the idle screen.

make a phone call

Enter a phone number and press Oto make a call or use a voice name. See “voice name” on page 51.

Tip: For best performance avoid touching the antenna with your fingers during the call.

To hang up, close the flip or press o.

answer a phone call

When your phone rings and/or vibrates, you have the following options to answer the call:

1If you want to talk on speaker phone, press the speaker key t without opening the flip. To hang up press the smart key ..

2If you want to answer the call using the ear speaker, just open the flip and press O. To hang up, close the flip or press

o.

Note: You must have the Flip Activation feature On. See “advanced calling” on page 69.

With Private calls service, you use your phone as a long-range, digital 2-way radio using one- to-one Private calls or one-to-many group calls.
