Attaching New Pictures, Videos, and Voice Records

While you are creating a message, you can take pictures, record videos, or create voice records and attach them to the message.

Taking a New Picture

1While you are creating a message, scroll to any message field and press m. -or-

Select Attach > [New Attachment].

2Select Capture Picture. This accesses the camera.

3If you want to adjust the zoom, lighting, picture quality, picture size, or a timer, set these options. See “Setting Picture Options” on page 119.

4Aim the camera lens on the flip. Use the internal display as the viewfinder.

5When the image you want to capture is in view, press and release O or press and release A under Capture.

6When the you have captured the picture you

want to attach to your message, press and release O or press and release Aunder Save.

To discard the picture, press Aunder Discard. You can then take another picture.

7When you are finished, press A under Done if Done is one of your options.

The picture is attached to the message and saved to the default storage location.

Recording Video

1While you are creating a message, scroll to any message field and press m. -or-

Select Attach > [New Attachment].

2Select Record Video. This accesses the video recorder.

3If you want to adjust lighting: Press m.

Select Spotlighting. Select On or Off.

4Aim the camera lens on the flip. Use the internal display as the viewfinder.

5If you want to zoom in or out, scroll up or down. If you want to change the image size, scroll left or right.

6When you are ready to record, press and release c, press and release O, or press and release Aunder Record. Releasing the key starts the recording.

7If you want to end the video, press c or press A under Stop.
