• When an EVENT alarm expires, the message

displays and the pager alerts. Press any button

once to stop the alarm, and again to clear the

message.

activation, the ALARM icon flashes.

Note: You can temporarily turn off a daily alert (for example, on a weekend).

To turn off the alert, follow these steps.

1.From the Standby screen, press and release *until ALARMS? displays. Press + to enter the ALARMS menu. Press **+ to enter EVENT alarms mode.

2.Press *until the EVENT alert you want to turn off displays. Press ++ to move to the alert enable/disable field.

3.Press * until I (the disable alert icon) displays.

4.Press ) to set and exit. The alarm remains set and turned on, but the alert

￿won’t occur until it is turned on again.

To turn the alert on again, follow these steps.

1.From the Standby screen, press and release *until ALARMS? displays. Press + to enter the ALARMS menu. Press **+ to enter EVENT alarms mode.

2.Press *until the EVENT alert you want to turn on displays.

3.Press ++ to move to the alert enable/disable field.

4.Press * until J (the enable alert icon) displays.

5.Press ) to set and exit.

To turn off (erase) the alarm settings, follow these steps.

1.From the Standby screen, press and release *until ALARMS? displays. Press + to enter the ALARMS menu. Press **+ to enter EVENT alarms mode.

2.Press *until the EVENT alarm you want to turn off displays. Press +, then press * until -- (the disable alarm icon) displays.

3.Press ) to set and exit.
