Learning to Use Your Phone

The message center lets you compose and send text messages. A flashing cursor shows where text will appear:

5		P V^ Press Mto open
Flashing cursor	Msg:		sub-menu.
indicates
insertion point.			Press

INSERT (+) to insert quick note, picture, or sound.

CANCEL e INSERT

Press CANCEL (-) to exit without making changes.

When you enter text using the standard tap method (see page 31), the flashing cursor changes to a block cursor, and the soft key functions change:

After two
seconds, block							Press OK (+) to
cursor reverts							accept and
to flashing							store text.
cursor and			DELETE		e	OK
moves to next
position.				Press DELETE (-) to delete
