General Text Entry Rules

Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its characters. See “Character Chart” on page 39.

Press a number key as many times as necessary

to enter the desired character at flashing cursor location.

Press and hold a number key to cycle between text entry modes.

MSG:

CANCEL BROWSE

Press up or down to change letter in block cursor to uppercase or lowercase.

Press left or

right to move flashing cursor to the

left or right in text message.

•If you do not press a key for two seconds, the character in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves to the next position.
