Protecting the SIM Card

Your PIN (Personal Identiﬁcation Number) code protects the

information stored on your SIM card. When the SIM PIN feature

is activated, you must enter your SIM card PIN code each time

you turn on the phone or insert a SIM card. Your SIM card PIN

code is given to you by your service provider.

Find the Feature

M> Settings > Security

> Call Barring

Press To

S scroll to Outgoing or Incoming calls

CHANGE (+) select barring for Outgoing or

Incoming calls

S scroll to a restriction for the barred

calls

SELECT (+) select the restriction for the barred

calls

keypad keys enter your call barring password

OK (+) submit your password

Find the Feature

M> Settings > Security

> SIM PIN

Press To

S scroll to On or Off

SELECT (+) switch protection on or off

keypad keys enter your SIM card PIN code
